Kevin Keresey
Writer/Director/Producer
Originally from New York, Kevin has appeared in many independent films including, BA0, TRACKDOWN, NG IS MISSING, PRIME TARGET, THE YARD BROTHERS and others, as well as television appearances and dozens of plays in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Eventually he started writing his own Plays and Screenplays. His third screenplay, THE RAT THING, was a semi finalist in the prestigious Nicholls Screenwriting Competition. Judged solely by members of the Motion Picture Academy, the Nicholls is considered to be the premier screenwriting contest. THE RAT THING was also a big hit at three different Staged Readings done at the HBO Workspace. Kevin subsequently received multiple offers for representation for the project from well respected industry agents and producers to sell the screenplay to a major studio. He passed on all offers to sell, including an offer for him to star (but not direct) in the picture and be surrounded by "names." Instead he decided to raise the money independently and produce the film himself, staying true to his vision of directing the film with the original cast he'd chosen.
